Lightweight but sturdy children's sized viking or round shield featuring a a custom made steel boss (or umbo) that covers the user's hand as well as a shaped wooden handle.
Disclaimer: Umbos are made of carbon steel and will rust over time, especially when exposed to the elements. We oil them down to polish and prolong their life. If the umbo begins to rust, it can be removed with steel wool. We recommend oiling the umbo or rubbing it with furniture wax to slow rust from forming.
