-Light weight but sturdy children's sized shield with laser cut design in various stains.
-Features a custom made steel shield boss (or umbo) that covers the user's hand as well as a shaped wooden handle.
-Shield edge is wrapped in black fabric.
-Shield board is pine 3 ply and quite strong for the thickness and weight.
-Constructed with copper rivets. Constructed in very similar manner as genuine archeological finds.
-Perfect for Halloween, Ren Faire, cosplay, and SCA events.
-Works well as a Buckler or Targe for light sparring contact.

DISCLAIMER: Umbos are made of carbon steel and will rust over time, especially when exposed to elements. We oil them down to polish and prolong their life. If the umbo begins to rust, it can be removed with steel wool. We recommend oiling the umbo or rubbing it with furniture wax to slow rust from forming.
