We had requests to leave our popular wooden sword with sheath set *unfinished* so it could be used as a DIY, customizable project for adults and kids alike.
The raw wood takes stain, paint, clear coats, marker and colored pencil well. It's a great project for kids to get their creativity flowing and wind up with a rewarding usable toy that will last. Now with the foam pad you can enjoy more battles and journeys.
Pictured above as left plain, using a gel stain, a regular stain, and everyday children's pentel washable non-toxic markers.
