Our Viking playpack includes two shields and two swords perfect for you and a sparring partner!
SHIELDS: Light weight but sturdy children's sized Viking or round shield with Norse embossed design in a dark brown stain. Features a custom made steel shield boss (or umbo) that covers the user's hand as well as a shaped wooden handle. Shield edge is wrapped in black fabric. Shield board is pine 3 ply and quite strong for the thickness and weight. Constructed with copper rivets. Constructed in very similar manner as genuine archeological finds. Perfect for Halloween, Ren Faire, cosplay, and SCA events. Works well as a Buckler or Targe for light sparring contact. 19" diameter, 2" boss depth, 3/16 in board thickness.
SWORDS: Designed and functionality give this solid wood sword appeal both for play and costume use. It features a real suede leather handle wrap for a very pleasing grippy feel and realistic look. The leather is tacked in to place, great attention to detail. The sword measures 28" long. Finished in the U.S.
