Toy 19" Norse style round shield ready for you to paint and decorate. Unfinished 1/4 inch plywood, solid wood carved handle, and steel umbo (umbo measures 6" outside diameter, 4.5" inside diameter and 2" in depth), all constructed in a similar way to real historic pieces. Will stand up to play and reasonable contact. Great looking as a wall piece and sturdy enough for play. Even fun for adults. Can be used as a buckler for light sparring.
Constructed with copper rivets and edges wrapped in black fabric. Hand made in California, USA.
