Light weight but sturdy children's sized Viking or round shield with Norse embossed design in various stains. Features a custom made steel shield boss (or umbo) that covers the user's hand as well as a shaped wooden handle. Shield edge is wrapped in black fabric. Shield board is pine 3 ply and quite strong for the thickness and weight. Constructed with copper rivets. Constructed in very similar manner as genuine archeological finds. Perfect for Halloween, Ren Faire, cosplay, and SCA events. Works well as a Buckler or Targe for light sparring contact.

Formidable shield

I recently purchased a shield for a art project, and it's quality and design is formidable and as also all producs use are of great quality.

Stitchings around the shield is also firmly tighten.

I means in scales, my height is 5'9 and it cover almost pass my torso.

A great quality paint for the color selection which gave it a vibrant and colorful presentation all throughout.

Perhaps this shield can be use for recreational purposes and or complementary to a specific design look overall, I would rate it a 5/5.
