This Sturdy Wooden Short Sword is made from solid pine with just under 2 inch width, 3/4 inch thickness, and 28 inch length. Designed with durability in mind and made to be used, not just looked at. Built to last as a prop or toy. Blunt edges/point and good thickness make this safer for children but should never be swung full force at another person... it is heavy enough to hurt. Perfect for pretend play, Halloween costumes, and Renaissance Fairs, adults as well as children.

This version has no finish or clear coat so it's ready to paint or decorate in any way you see fit. Great craft project for camps etc. Takes paint, marker, crayon, stain, and even pencil well.

one for everyone in the family

I cannot even begin to saw how awesome these are! Everyone in the family got a set. They're holding up well, 2+months in and still in love. Our boys use them daily. We join in on occasion and their friend use ours to have an all out battle. Love love love! Thank you for bringing great training weapons to our house.

I ordered two swords for my grandson's birthday gift. They arrived promptly, well-packaged and looking good. They needed only a light sanding before paint. I feel like they are definitely worth the price. Thanks.

have to stain

The sword looks very nice and it's clear it comes from a quality piece of wood. I didn't realize that it would not be sealed when I bought it. This is a birthday gift for my son, and I know he will love it, but I gave four stars instead of five since I will have to seal it before gifting it.

bought for the whole family

First bought some as a birthday present. Had to come back to buy more. These are PERFECT!! for family sword fights. Both my girls and my boys have loved painting them to personalize them. I love playing with them with my kids ages 4-14. Perfect size and weight for us all. The kids love whipping their swords out of the sheaths. 🥰

perfect replacement sword for my son

We were in Ireland and all my son wanted was a wooden sword from Dublinia. It’s didn’t make it through customs and he was devastated. This came quickly, was nicer that the sword confiscated by TSA and had his name so overall a more than adequate replacement. Only negative was the wrapping around the handle came loose the first day out.
